About

The story of Beyond The Normal started long before it became a brand. Back then, I was chasing my dream—playing professional basketball. I was training hard, working with youth of all ages, and even began designing shirts for what was meant to be a training business. That passion for mentoring through basketball still lives on—I continue to train and pour into the next generation.

But everything changed when I got to college. I didn’t end up playing on the team like I expected. Instead, I stepped into a leadership role as head of player development and team manager. At the same time, I was majoring in business, trying to figure out what direction I truly wanted to take.

Throughout high school and college, I never really felt like I fully “fit in.” That sense of being different, of not having a defined space, stuck with me—but instead of hiding it, I learned to embrace it.

That’s when my focus shifted.

Basketball would always be part of me, but it was clear that playing wasn’t the end goal anymore. I had another passion that had always been there: fashion, Art, and music. For me, basketball and style always went hand in hand—it was a form of expression, a second love that was just as powerful.

I launched my first brand under the name Midnight Operation—designed pieces, shared them with close friends, and collected feedback. But eventually, I hit a creative block. I took a step back, reevaluated everything, and decided to rebuild from the ground up.

That’s how Beyond The Normal was born. A brand that represents the outliers, the misfits, and the people creating their own lane. This isn’t just clothing—it’s a movement for those who dare to go beyond expectations, beyond the crowd, beyond the normal.
